WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

POP Studio is a home based luxury studio salon in New Palestine. I will provide you with a street address upon booking an appointment.


HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY HAIR DONE?

Here is my recommendation on the frequency of hair services:

Haircut: 3 – 12 weeks

New Growth Touch Up:  4 – 6 weeks

Balayage:  10 – 12 weeks

Foils/Highlight: 6 – 8 weeks

Gloss/Toner:  3 – 8 weeks

Conditioning Treatment:  Any time between services or as an add on to a service

Extensions:  Move up 6 – 8 weeks

WHAT IS YOUR ILLNESS POLICY?

POP Studio follows the Indiana State Board of Health and CDC guidelines for hair salons. All sanitary guidelines are followed in accordance with the Indiana State Board of Cosmetology. I ask that you reschedule with as much notice as possible if you have any symptoms of illness, COVID-19 related or other. Together, we can decide when it is safe to reschedule, based on your individual scenario.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

POP Studio has a 72 hour cancellation policy.

If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled without a minimum of 72 hours notice a rebooking fee equal to 50% of the missed appointment will be added to your next service.

WHAT IS YOUR NO-SHOW POLICY?

If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, a fee equal to the value of the missed service will be added to your next service cost.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T LOVE MY HAIR?

I fully stand behind the work that I do. I DO NOT give refunds for services, however, I will do everything in my power to make you happy. I want you to love your hair. I ask that you reach out within 7 days of your service so that we can find a time to make adjustments. I cannot make adjustments in the case of color change or fading if you are not purchasing and using my professional products at home as part of your maintenance.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY ON HAIR PRODUCTS?

If you are not happy with the performance of any product purchased from POP Studio, you may return it for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Within 14 days the product may be switched out for something different as long a no more than 1/4 of the product has been used. I will gladly replace a product if it is defective.

SHOULD MY HAIR BE DIRTY FOR MY COLOR APPOINTMENT?

It is always best to arrive to your appointment with clean, dry hair styled as usual. It is helpful for me to see how you normally style your hair. Dirty hair with product build up can affect the performance of hair color and alter the intended result. I suggest that you do not shampoo aggressively before a color appointment as it could cause irritation to your scalp.

WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Please let me know if you are running late. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may need to reschedule your appointment depending on your service scheduled and my schedule. If rescheduling is needed, rescheduling fee equal to 50% of your scheduled service will be added to your next appointment.

WHAT IS YOUR CHILD/VISITOR POLICY?

I prefer that you come alone to your appointment. I would like you to have my full undivided attention. POP Studio is a hazardous environment for infants and young children. If children do accompany you to your appointment, I ask that they be old enough to sit alone unattended. It is dangerous for infants and children to be held during your service and will not be permitted. Another adult is welcome to visit with you, if you choose.
